Michael “Mike” D. Pagona, Jr., 37 of Toledo, OH, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Born February 2, 1979, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Michael D. and Donna (Williams) Pagona, Sr. He was a 1996 graduate of Start High School. He followed in his father’s footsteps working out of the Boilermakers Local 85 in Rossford for the past 19 years. Mike loved welding, a skill he started learning at his father’s knee. He loved going to the park, flying his helicopters, going to concerts, spending time with his many friends and family and especially being with his son.
Mike is survived by his loving son, Michael D. Pagona, III,; mother, Donna Pagona; sisters, Shay (Troy) Tidwell and Sher Pagona-Theisen; nephew, Troy (Megan Russell) Tidwell, Jr.; nieces, Breanna Tidwell, Macy and Tara Theisen; great nephew, Trevor Tidwell; uncle, Perry Williams; aunt, Lana (Edwin) Henry; former wife, Maribeth Socha. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Monday, October 31, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Fr. James Auth, officiating.
